Rhinoplasty

Aesthetic and functional surgery of the nose, performed by a dual fellowship-trained facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon.

Surgeon

Dr. Saleh Alqaryan

Setting

Private practice, Riyadh

Consultation

By appointment

Introduction

Rhinoplasty is surgery of the nose addressing appearance, structure, or both. Because the nose sits at the centre of facial proportion, planning is individual: the goal is a result that belongs to the patient’s face rather than a standard shape.

Dr. Saleh’s reconstructive background, including microvascular reconstruction of the face, informs how nasal structure is preserved and rebuilt during aesthetic surgery.

Considerations discussed in consultation

01

Aesthetic goals

What the patient wants changed, and how that relates to overall facial proportion.

02

Breathing & function

Nasal airway assessment, examined alongside any aesthetic concern.

03

Prior surgery or injury

Previous rhinoplasty, fracture or trauma affecting nasal structure.

04

Medical history

General health, current medications, allergies, and any previous nasal surgery or injury are reviewed before a plan is agreed.

Procedure overview

STEP 01

Consultation & assessment

Examination, discussion of goals, and a surgical plan specific to the patient’s anatomy.

STEP 02

Surgical planning

Photographic assessment and measurement of nasal proportion against the rest of the face, then a written plan agreed with the patient before a date is set.

STEP 03

The procedure

Carried out as agreed in consultation. Anaesthesia, surgical approach and expected duration are confirmed with the patient beforehand, not assumed.

STEP 04

Follow-up

Reviewed in scheduled appointments after surgery. The follow-up schedule is set for the individual case and given to the patient in writing.

What the patient should know

Every plan is individual, and results, healing and suitability are discussed directly with Dr. Saleh in consultation rather than promised in advance.

Results, healing and suitability vary between patients. The specific risks, recovery and aftercare that apply to your case are explained by Dr. Saleh in consultation and confirmed in writing before surgery.

Frequently asked

Who is a suitable candidate?
Suitability is decided in consultation, after examination and a discussion of what the patient would like changed. General health, nasal structure, breathing, and any previous surgery or injury all affect the answer.
Is rhinoplasty functional as well as aesthetic?
Nasal appearance and breathing are assessed together in consultation; whether both are addressed depends on the individual case.
What does recovery involve?
Recovery differs between patients and between procedures. What to expect, and the aftercare that applies to your case, is set out by Dr. Saleh before surgery rather than promised in advance.
How do I book a consultation?
Requests are made through the contact page or WhatsApp; the clinic confirms the appointment directly.
